Interrupts should work, provided your version of windows (or rather powershell) in new enough.
Do you get a warning about the powershell version in the console, i.e. something like this:
PowerShell version < 3 encountered. Running without wrapper (interrupts won't work).
If so, then that's an unsolved problem (it should totally be possible to rewrite the wrapper to support older PS versions, but I didn't have any need to do so yet. And more importantly, I don't even now why it doesn't work).
If not, it's a bug and I'd need a bit more information about your setup to help you with it.
