Things have been pretty quiet round here lately, I know. Over the next few months, that's going to change a lot – I'm fortunate enough to be able to put a lot of my time into making great Julia tools from now on, and by the end of the summer I'm hoping we'll have a really amazing Julia IDE for everyone.
In particular, I want to keep the ideas and interactivity that make Juno what it is, while bringing it the polish, ease of use and power features that it needs. That's going to mean some changes in direction, and I plan to put together a roadmap of some form and make more announcements about that soon.
Outside of the technical stuff, my big focus moving forward will be on growing our community. Juno has a small but passionate set of users who would love to help out, but have no idea where to start. Over the coming months I'll be focused on making sure there's plenty of resources for those people to start contributing and getting their own ideas out to our thousands of users. That's the only way for Juno to be as great as it can be.
In the mean time – keep an eye out, and carry on enjoying Juno!
