Nice forum here, Julia looks interesting (The easy part seems to write programs in it, but installing it, wow!.
This is real difficult but using Pkg.build("MbedTLS") and Pkg.build("Atom") seems to work.
However got the following when starting Julia in Atom:
PowerShell version < 3 encountered. Running without wrapper (interrupts won't work).
INFO: Precompiling module Atom.
WARNING: using Lazy.remove in module AtomShell conflicts with an existing identifier.
Is this a problem?
-Versions were Julia 0.5.0 ( Command line version)
- Atom 1.14.3
How do I update Powershell ? What else should I do?
Before this i tried with Anaconda, but Atom got lots of errors when trying to start Julia. And I tried many more funny things, I thought that I needed IPhyton to run. After carefully deleting all traces ( I could find) of Atom and Anaconda and conda and IPhyton I started over again installing Julia /Atom but Atom did not install uber-juno, nothing happened at all. So the trick I read here (thanks a lot).
Error message from Atom (with Conda/Anaconda), if it helps anything:
