Hello, I'm new to this, so apologies if this is a stupid mistake or something I overlooked. Please note that I am new to julia as well, I've been a long time python user among other languages. I'm not a programmer, rather an engineer. So please forgive me if I'm missing something obvious.
Whenever I run a file in Atom using the run file button, it generates a warning for every function in the file. The warnings are always of the form:
Warning: Method definition *functionname*(any) in module main at *filepath*:*line in code* overwritten at *filepath*:*line in code*
I'm used to python, and will work on my program and run as I make changes to verify that things are working the way I expect. So being slapped with a warning like this every time I run my code is so nonsensical to me that it's practically infuriating. I've tried the most basic of functions, as well as code written by others that is proven to work. Is this a feature of the language, or is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
